Gweryd Lakes is a beautiful 61 hectares (150 acres) estate situated 300 metres (1,000 feet) above sea level in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The farm has a flock of badger-faced sheep that lamb in April.

Gweryd Lakes is a great place for coarse fishing and for walking and as a base from which to ride or mountain bike the Clwydian Range.

Camping, self-catering accommodation and B&B is available throughout the year for both people and horses!

Tree & Nature Trails car parking charge for 2007 (including admission):

• £2.50 per vehicle (if just one person)*
• £5 per vehicle (up to 5 persons)*

* Tree and Nature Trail users - spend £25 or more per vehicle group in the Hideaways Café and parking is refunded

About Hideaways Café

Dutch Pancake House
Dutch pancakes are a speciality in Holland, eaten throughout the year. Made with a combination of flours, eggs and milk they are a nutritious meal appealing to all ages. They can be savoury or sweet, but are often eaten as a combination. Most vital is schenk suiker stroop (pronounced 'strope'), a raw cane sugar syrup unlike any other. It is the condiment that makes the real Dutch taste of these sweet and savoury pancakes. Hideaways Café pancakes are made from authentic Dutch ingredients.
