About the furniture

The four pedestal tables and low level table by Bizarre Furniture are made from Welsh ash, sourced through the Mostyn Estate Sawmill from the Mostyn estate’s Marine Wood at Mostyn.  The designs are contemporary, enhanced by the natural contours of the grain.

About the furniture designer/maker

Ian Pickstock (Bizarre Furniture & Picture Framing)

As a qualified carpenter and joiner, Ian Pickstock works using traditional methods to create both traditional and contemporary pieces of furniture.  He studied Carpentry and Joinery at Yale College, Centre of Excellence where he was awarded student of the year 1997 and winner of the Henkel Award 1998.
